Terms of Use

1. Who we are and what Dawaiz does
Dawaiz ("we", "us") runs the Dawaiz app, the website dawaiz.com and app.dawaiz.com (together, "Dawaiz"). Dawaiz is a technology platform. It sends your order to verified pharmacies near you, one at a time, until one accepts. Dawaiz does not sell, stock or dispense medicines. The pharmacy that accepts your order sells the medicine to you, makes the bill, and delivers it with its own delivery person or keeps it ready for you to collect.
By using Dawaiz you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Dawaiz.
2. Who can use Dawaiz
- You must be 18 or older. A parent or guardian can order for a child.
- You log in with your own mobile number. Keep your phone and the login code safe; you are responsible for orders placed from your account.
- You give correct details: name, address and the location where the medicine should reach.
3. Prescriptions
- Medicines in Schedule H and H1 need a valid prescription from a registered doctor, written for the patient. Upload a clear photo before ordering.
- The pharmacist checks the prescription before packing and may refuse or reduce an order if the prescription is unclear, old, or does not match.
- Schedule X medicines and other medicines the law does not allow for home delivery cannot be ordered on Dawaiz.
- When Dawaiz reads a prescription photo for you, it only suggests medicines from our list. You must check every name against the paper. The pharmacist's check is final.
- Uploading a fake, altered or someone else's prescription is not allowed and may be reported to the authorities.
4. Prices, bill and payment
- The pharmacy's price is never more than the MRP printed on the pack. Many pharmacies give a discount, which you see before ordering.
- The pharmacy makes the final bill. If a medicine is not available or the price changes, you see the change and decide before you pay.
- You can pay cash or UPI to the delivery person, or pay online (UPI, card, netbanking) through our payment partner Razorpay once the final bill is ready. Online payments are received by Dawaiz on behalf of the pharmacy.
- A delivery fee may apply. It is shown before you order.
5. Delivery and pick-up
- Times shown in the app (for example "about 25 min") are estimates, not promises.
- The delivery person hands over the medicine only after you give the 4-digit delivery code shown in your app. Do not share it until you have the medicine in hand.
- Check the medicines, quantity and expiry date at the door. Medicines that need cold storage are delivered only by pharmacies that can keep them cold.
- When you order for someone else (a family member at another address), you are responsible for their consent to receive it and share their location.
6. Cancellation, returns and refunds
- You can cancel free of charge until the pharmacy has packed the order.
- Medicines cannot be returned once delivered, because of safety rules, except when the pharmacy sent a wrong, damaged or expired item. Tell us from Help in the app within 48 hours, with a photo.
- If you paid online and the order is cancelled, or an item was not supplied, the amount is refunded to the same payment method, usually within 5 to 7 working days.
7. Medicine information and Care reminders
- Dawaiz shows what a medicine is commonly used for, in simple words. This is general information, not medical advice. It does not replace your doctor or pharmacist.
- Cheaper options with the same salt are shown for your information. Change a medicine only after asking your doctor or pharmacist.
- Medicine reminders and family alerts help you remember. They depend on your phone, its settings and the internet, and may sometimes be late or not arrive. Do not depend on them alone for critical medicines.
8. Pharmacy partners
Pharmacies on Dawaiz must hold a valid drug licence, employ a registered pharmacist, follow the Drugs and Cosmetics Act and rules, sell genuine medicines within expiry, never charge above MRP, and protect customer details. We verify licence documents before a pharmacy gets orders and may suspend a pharmacy that breaks these rules. Separate partner terms may apply.
9. What you must not do
- Use Dawaiz for anything unlawful, or to order medicines for resale.
- Misuse the system: fake orders, false complaints, abusing delivery people or pharmacy staff.
- Copy, scrape or try to break into the app or its data.
10. Our responsibility
We work to keep Dawaiz running and correct, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. The pharmacy is responsible for the medicines it sells. To the extent the law allows, Dawaiz is not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under Indian law.
11. Changes and ending your account
We may update these terms; we will show the new date at the top and tell you in the app about important changes. You can delete your account at any time from Profile in the app or at dawaiz.com/delete-account. We may suspend accounts that misuse Dawaiz.
12. Law and complaints
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at New Delhi have jurisdiction. For any complaint, write to us from Help in the app or contact our grievance officer:

We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and try to resolve them within 30 days, or sooner where the law requires.
